CATHOLICISM MADE SIMPLE

To Help People Grow in Love and Knowledge of God
by introducing them to religious studies in a simple and easy way

The course has been prepared to help people who want to know more about the Catholic Faith, but who feel they do not know enough even to make a start.  

This course is studied at home, at your own page, with the friendship and support of a tutor.

Each Chapter as a worksheet for you to fill in and send off to the tutor assigned to you.

You will be able to ask questions  to your tutor about anything you feel you do not understand.  You could also talk to your local priest about it if you want.  The twenty chapters are arranged so that they build on one another to give a basic picture of Catholic teaching.

 5. The Holy Spirit 15. Mary and the Saints

 9. The Church 19. Right or Wrong
10. Sacraments 20. Death and Beyond

Each chapter of the Course is on both sides of a single A4 Sheet

The chapters are easy to read and information is sprinkled with humour as well as traditional facts about the Faith.

Worksheets are provided with questions and space for short answers to be sent to your tutor.  There is also space for your own questions.

It is up to you how deeply you consider your responses and consider going on to other courses later.

On completion of the Course a Certificate of Completion will be issued by Our Lady's Catechists signed by the Chairman and Registrar.

As from January 2006 The Course Fee will be £15
All cheques should be made payable to

It is recommended that students have a copy of the Bible such as the Good News edition
